Brothers of Theta Rho Lambda joined nearly 50 Alph Brothers of Theta Rho Lambda joined nearly 50 Alpha Brothers from across the Commonwealth in Richmond for Alpha Day at the Virginia State Capitol. The day included meaningful conversations with members of the House of Delegates and the State Senate, reinforcing Alpha’s commitment to leadership, advocacy, civic engagement and public service. The program featured remarks from distinguished Alpha Brothers and public servants, including Speaker of the House Don Scott, Delegate Alex Askew, Delegate Michael Feggans, and Secretary of Health and Human Resources Marvin Figueroa. Additional speakers included State Senator Aaron R. Rouse, State Senator Angelia Williams Graves, Delegate Nicole Cole, and Delegate Margaret Angela Franklin.   United in purpose, the men of Alpha Phi Alpha continue to make our presence felt where decisions are made by shaping policy, empowering communities, and leading with purpose. #VACAPAF #TRLAlphas

We were also honored to recognize Bro. Lauren Elli We were also honored to recognize Bro. Lauren Ellison (@ren_je) for being our 2025 Rising Brother of the Year at our 58th annual Black and Gold Gala, hosted in conjunction with the @wtsyphaxfoundation. Bro. Ellison was raised in Indianapolis, IN, and attended Florida A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also attended the University of Mississippi, earning his Master of Business Administration. Bro. Ellison serves in the United States Navy and is currently the Executive Officer onboard USS GERMANTOWN (LSD 42). In his career, he has been deployed numerous times around the globe, taught at the collegiate level, recruited officers for the United States Navy, and organized community service projects. Bro. Ellison is a Spring 2024 initiate of the Theta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has served as co-chairman of our Community Service Committee and Master of Ceremonies of our Chapter's 60th Charter Day Luncheon in December 2024. Bro. Ellison has been a valuable addition to Theta Rho Lambda. Bro.
